Rosebud appeals to all ages with the music of the Grateful Dead mixed with originals and covers inspired by the Dead. The band re-interprets the music of the Beatles, Van Morrison, Neil Young, Bob Dylan, and others with a Dead-like spin, resulting in a dance party that appeals to all ages. The band is comprised of veteran Bay Area musicians who have worked with members of the Grateful Dead, David Grisman Quintet, Doobie Brothers, Galactic and many others. Bandleader Scott Cooper's original music gets regular radio airplay on KPIG radio and his debut CD reached #5 national on the national jam band radio chart. Lead guitarist Fred Rodriguez is familiar to SLO residents from his years with Three-Legged Dawg. Rosebud has performed throughout the state including the Siren (Morro Bay), SLO Brew (San Luis Obispo), Evergreen Lodge (Yosemite), Terrapin Crossroads (San Rafael), Club Fox (Redwood City), Felton Music Hall, Michaels on Main (Soquel) and many more.

Dakota comes from a family of musicians and music has always been an integral part of her life. Raised on the enchanting Central Coast of California, where the rugged coastline meets rolling vineyards and majestic mountains, she found solace in songwriting at a young age.
